2024’s first Fall Champion Hero is Keith Gant, a Resident Assistant at Brightview Senior Living East Norriton in East Norriton Township, Pennsylvania. Keith is known in his community for his incredible kindness toward residents and is being recognized as a Fall Champion Hero, in part, because of his amazing compassion when a fall incident occurs. Cole Smith, Corporate Director of Dementia Services and Keith’s nominator says, “Our first two falls after installing SafelyYou, Keith responded promptly, never leaving the resident’s side. He offered a hug and gentle arm around the one resident…and in another instance, he sat next to the resident as she got dressed—he was supportive in coaching her, but allowed her the space and time to independently dress herself. His paternal instinct to protect our residents makes him exceptional when responding to falls.” It’s our pleasure to count Keith among our Fall Champion Heroes.
