Join us in celebrating November’s Care Champion Hero, Cortney Finkelstein, a Charge Nurse at Belmont Village Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona! Cortney has only been in her role a short time, but she’s already making a tremendous impact in her community. She consistently follows the community’s protocols, gets on the ground with the resident after a fall, and leverages the right tools to perform an assessment. Nominator Amber Ashbrook, Director of Resident Care Services says, “Cortney consistently has compassion, respect, kindness, and empathy in every interaction, regardless of if it is with a coworker, management, resident, family member, or an outside provider. Every time Cortney is working a shift, she makes frequent rounds checking in with our care staff asking how she can support them. I am grateful to have Cortney as a member of our team.” We’re grateful for Cortney’s commitment to high-quality care and fall response best practices. If you know a Care Champion Hero like Cortney who should also be recognized for their impact in a community, nominate them here.
