We’re proud to announce November’s Fall Champion Hero, Brenda Rivera, a Lead Med Tech at Brookdale Santa Catalina in Catalina Foothills, Arizona. “Brenda has embraced the SafelyYou program as an advocate to learn how to reduce and avoid falls for our residents. When a fall occurs, she remains very calm, comforting the resident. She studies the fall videos and works with the other staff to try to make improvements in how we respond to resident falls,” says Denise Martinez, Health and Wellness Director and Brenda’s nominator.
