Congratulations go to Aurea “Rhea” Sia, October’s National Fall Champion Hero and a Neighborhood PAL at Belmont Village Sunnyvale in Sunnyvale, California. Rhea has only been in her position for a few months but has already established herself as a leader in fall prevention and protocols. Know a Fall Champion Hero? Nominate them today.

“Aurea is always very diligent yet gentle when it comes to her approach in assisting the memory care residents after they have fallen. She goes above and beyond in providing comfort to our residents by providing pillows, getting down to eye level and always makes sure to never leave the residents’ side while they are awaiting clinical assistance. She is able to provide solace to our residents even at their most vulnerable times and that is what makes Rhea Sunnyvale’s Fall Champion Hero!” says her nominator, Erika Soto, Senior Enrichment Leader.

We’re proud to name Rhea one of our Fall Champion Heroes. Every month we recognize and celebrate an outstanding employee like her, who is on the front lines of senior living care staff,  creating and maintaining a safe environment for our loved ones.
