On Wednesday, May 19, senior living leaders from across the country will be coming together for SafelyYou’s first Summit, OPEN: “The Future of Fall Prevention.”

As the country begins to reopen after a year like no other, SafelyYou’s fall detection and prevention experts thought it only fitting to open its very first virtual summit free of charge to all wanting to drive change in senior living. The Summit will kick off with a keynote presentation featuring SafelyYou’s CEO George Netscher and COO Shirley Nickels, and also feature two breakout panel sessions.

Let’s take a closer look at the first panel session, Reducing Risk and Improving Clinical Outcomes with SafelyYou, featuring JoAnne Carlin, Vice President of Clinical Risk Services for Willis Towers Watson; Liz Jensen, Clinical Director for Direct Supply; and Sarah Padilla, Vice President of Resident Care for Merrill Gardens Senior Living. The session will be moderated by SafelyYou’s Shirley Nickels.

Taking place on May 19 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. PT, the discussion will highlight how SafelyYou is providing new insights into fall programming. The industry leaders will examine how SafelyYou’s fall detection and prevention technology has the opportunity to not only drive clinical outcomes but finally bridge the known gaps in QAPI to ultimately reduce risks to senior living operators. Summit attendees will learn:

  • Top clinical outcomes from fall video review
  • Highlights from root cause analysis and action plans
  • How fall video review with fall huddles support QAPI
